Agent for Change knows how difficult it can be to raise funds in this economic climate. But now more than ever the work of our charitable and arts organizations is so important. And so we want to talk with you about a few ideas we have to expand the impact of our wines and do more good works.

Agent for Change Wines, a charitable wine project of Martellotto Wines, is a portfolio of wines produced to create awareness and raise funds for good causes. By encouraging consumers to drink charitably, Agent for Change Wines donates a substantial portion of its proceeds to nonprofit organizations. Since September 2008, we’ve released three wines from Central Coast California. Fifty percent of the profits from these wines are donated to community-based organizations that deliver healthcare to uninsured wine industry workers.

As Agent for Change grows, we are seeking like-minded charitable partners to utilize our wines to generate much deserved funds and awareness. To show our support for a variety of worthy causes, we’ve designed the following fundraising solutions:

1. Pour Agent for Change Wines at events
Agent for Change Wines provides wine below retail price to charitable organizations to serve at events. These excellent wines are provided at a significantly reduced rate to keep costs low at events so that you can spend less and raise more awareness and funds. Depending on the available budget and marketing opportunity for Agent for Change wines, we can supply wine for your events at cost or as an in-kind donation.

2. Direct proceeds from wine sold on BigHammerWines.com to your organiztion
An email blast to your organization’s donor/volunteer database with a unique referral code to use upon checkout at BigHammerWines.com will direct 20 percent of the sales of our wines back to your organization. Existing and potential donors will help fund your programs by purchasing a quality, enjoyable product.

3. Create customized wine clubs
A customized wine club will target your different donor levels through varying price points and frequency of distribution. Wine club sales, also through BigHammerWines.com, will generate recurring revenue (monthly, quarterly, or annually) to be directed to your organization.

4. Create a co-branded wine
A special vintage of co-branded wine will have broad consumer appeal for donors and will be an ongoing source of funds for your organization. By drinking good wine, your donors will help to support your good works. This option requires an outlay of capital as well as a commitment to assist with the marketing and sales of the wines.

Agent for Change gives you the opportunity to create revenue for your organization. It’s like the grown-up version of the Girl Scout cookie model. You simply promote the wines to your donor and volunteer database. The more you promote the wines, the more revenue and awareness you generate for your organization.
